Overview

The SF-1600 system automatically applies and releases load to your preset limits. Every spring test can be stored for further analysis. Acceptable limits can be preset for simple go/no-go sorting of springs. Repeatable automatic smooth action testing is the same for every spring. All apspects of rating a set of springs can be preset prior to testing and evaluating
SuperFlow® has removed the “Human Error Factor” from valve spring analysis. Utilizing computer control the SuperFlow 1600 applies the same pressure, stroke and distrance every time. A heavy-duty pneumatic cylinder provides smooth precise motion unlike gear type testers that have spikes each time a tooth comes into contact effecting the accuracy and repeatability of the measurement and data.

Some of these models are available with a streamlined, fabricated base. This base is not only ultra durable due to the powder coating process, but also offers flexibility with water inlet/outlet placement and lifting eye locations. These engine dynos are fitted with two half couplings which, with the rotor, are oil injected onto the shaft. The standard machines run in grease lubricated rolling element bearings. Low minimum load capabilities allow testing of very small engines, or larger engines running at very light loads and high speeds. Heat is dissipated by cooling water flowing through the stationary portion of the absorber. Rotating water seals have been eliminated. Bearings are pre-lubricated and rated for 5,000 hours of operation between servicing. Standard commercial load cells measure reaction torque for either direction of rotation. The double-ended main shaft may be fitted with a starter motor or used for dual engine connection. Speed is measured by a 60-tooth gear and hall effect sensor.
